"The Miner excavates precious ores and crystals to be used by the Weaponsmith and Armorer."
Mining is one of the many Tradeskills in WildStar. The Miner uses a Laser Pickaxe to procure rare ores and gems from the landscape. Like all Tradeskills, Mining can be chosen once a Character reaches level 10.
How to Mine
In order to mine from a node, the Miner must first have a pick equipped. The miner then simply needs to find an ore node somewhere on Nexus they wish to mine. The miner then will face the node and Right Click to start mining. The Miner will begin to fire their Laser Pickaxe as a channel on the node. The Node's HP will slowly drain and resources will drop from it. One a node has been depleted, it will die and fade away. Being attacked by creatures will interrupt the channel for mining. Tier 1 nodes can be gathered simply by attacking them.
